HMH Chapter 8

← Hold My Hand

The round tip of the tentacle kneaded the gathered chest, stimulating his nipples, stiff with tension. The slippery, soft tentacle twisted his nipples and pinched them as if pulling. Eun-chan felt a shameful pleasure he had never felt before.

“Ngh… ngh… aht!”

Even letting a moan slip out was embarrassing. To be subjected to such acts by a monster. It was a horrifying thing he could never tell anyone about. Eun-chan squeezed his eyes shut at the vivid sensation of the tentacle against his palms. The subtle pleasure and ticklishness felt unfamiliar. The squishy, slick sensation that gave him goosebumps filled him with aversion, but he could not escape.

With tears in his eyes, Eun-chan looked toward the wall he guessed was the edge of the barrier. Tentacles filled the wall like a curtain, so he could not see ahead at all.

“Ngh, th-this is weird! N-no…! The feeling… heok, ahngh! L-let me go…!”

He squeezed out his strength and thrashed to escape. As his body began resisting again, his emotions grew heated as well. Eun-chan felt aversion and disgust at the unidentifiable, alien sensation the tentacle gave him, and turned it into anger. And with that anger, he slammed his fist hard into the wall wrapped in tentacles. His fist did not land on a tentacle but struck the wall, making a loud bang.

“Huh…?”

To dodge his fist, the tentacles reflexively scattered, and for an instant the intact barrier wall became visible. He hurriedly struck the wall even harder, tearing at the tentacles that tried to cover the wall again, and shouted.

“There’s a person here! Save me! I’m here! Please save me!”

He shouted with all his might, desperately. Beyond the wall, faintly, there was a sign of people and a human figure. Surely someone was on the other side of the barrier. The rescue team had probably arrived.

“Over here! There’s a person here! Save me! I’m telling you there’s a person here!”

He shouted repeatedly, pounding the wall with his fists so the tentacles could not approach. Then the tentacles could not come near and could not cover the wall. The tentacles squirmed as if somewhat flustered, lingering nearby. They looked ready to approach quickly the moment they saw an opening. Eun-chan shouted even more loudly, trying to reach the person beyond the wall. The figure beyond the wall showed a reaction and moved. Clinging to that reaction, Eun-chan shouted so loudly his throat bled.

“Save me! Please, there’s a person here! Save me!”

Tears fell. His clothes were torn to rags and full of holes from the tentacles, little better than rags. His lower half especially was as good as unclothed. The tentacle was still inserted into the secret hole between his legs, moving, and the foreign sensation and discomfort from it still remained in his abdomen. When he put strength into his abdomen, the feeling of the tentacle was transmitted starkly.

“Heuk, no…! Disgusting… urk!”

Nausea rose again. When strength went into his lower abdomen, the tentacle unintentionally tightened forcibly inside his belly and squirmed. At the tentacle’s violent movement, it felt as if his guts were twisting.

“Heuk… I want to get out…! Please…! Please save me!”

It was a desperate wail. But no answer or reaction came back at all. Gradually his strength drained, and just as he was about to collapse to the floor, he barely stayed standing thanks to the tangled tentacles. The tentacles still clung to his body with no thought of letting go.

Eun-chan looked at his own body. The tentacle wrapped around his chest and moved as if sucking, transmitting a strange sensation to his nipples. And while the tentacle kneaded his chest as it pleased, his body had also changed strangely. As if he had become dough, his slightly fuller chest and sensitized chest made a strange sensation rush to his lower half. Suddenly he felt like he needed the bathroom. He pressed his knees together and clutched his lower belly.

“Heuk… this is… weird… It’s weird, I tell you…”

He rubbed his knees together. A tingling sensation like a full bladder, as if he needed to go, dominated his lower half. His waist curved languidly, and the tentacle between the holes went in and out repeatedly, pistoning. Eun-chan’s face flushed, and heat warmed his body hotly. From the tentacle’s sticky liquid, the terribly sweet scent of ripe fruit spread, making him dizzy.

“Ngh… ngh… hngh?! Aht…!”

He could not keep his senses and felt his body becoming lewd in real time. It felt like he was not himself. It was a frightening, terrifying situation, but the sweet scent seemed to hypnotize his mind, making him chase and cling to the pleasure happening in his body.

“Aaht! My, my stomach… euhng, ngh, aht!”

A sticky liquid ran down his thighs. A white liquid, clearly different from the liquid flowing from the tentacle, ran not only down his legs but between his buttocks. Eun-chan felt his stomach strangely heavy and full. Somehow his lower belly, sticking out much more than before, felt ominous.

Splurt, splurt.

An unpleasant, unclean sound rang out, and the tentacle that had been inserted slipped out from between his buttocks. The roundly changed tip of the tentacle split in half, then joined again, dripping thick liquid. Eun-chan shuddered at the unpleasant fullness in his stomach and sank down on the spot. Meanwhile, the tentacles attached to his body slowly fell away one by one, heading toward the gate.

“F-finally, it’s over…”

An earthquake occurred around the gate. The ground shook, and the temperature of the floor dropped sharply. Eun-chan, drained of strength, could not stand and sat there alone on the cold floor.

Gurgle? Gurgling!

The tentacles suddenly showed a strange reaction and cried out as if excited. And then suddenly they turned sharp and charged at Eun-chan. Unable to dodge it in that instant, he froze and squeezed his eyes shut.

“Urk?!”

He shielded his head with his arms and blocked. The tentacle charging at him fiercely looked as if it would swallow him whole. But strangely, nothing happened, and he felt no pain at all. Eun-chan, afraid but trying to grasp the situation, screwed up his face and with difficulty opened one eye.

“Huh?”

A single exclamation burst out, and both his eyes widened hugely. The tentacle that had been heading for him had frozen solid, stopped like a piece of ice.

‘This ability… could it be…?’

At the frozen tentacle, Eun-chan felt his heart drop. Instead of relief at being saved from the tentacle, an anxious and impatient feeling arose.

Crack, crackle…

With a sound like breaking glass, part of the gate’s barrier behind him broke, creating a gap.

‘Finally the barrier broke…!’

With hope that he could live, a fleeting moment arrived. Eun-chan somehow stretched his hand toward the gap in the broken barrier. But at the same time as the solid gate broke, an arm of unclear identity thrust out first toward Eun-chan.

“This arm…?”

His gaze went to the arm, and a number engraved on the inside of the arm caught his eye. Eun-chan instinctively realized what that number represented and let out a low sound.

“An… esper…?”

A wearable patch was visible, attached to a particular part of an esper’s body to gauge the esper’s rampage. Eun-chan focused on the number on the arm. On the arm, the number 69% floated in white, and it suddenly began to react, gradually rising, confirmed to climb to 72%.

‘The level has reached a dangerous level. Is this esper… all right?’

He should have felt relief at the esper who had come to save him, but Eun-chan could not put his mind at ease. There was only one person with an ice-type ability among espers. And the one with a considerably high rampage level was none other than “him.” Eun-chan unconsciously bit his lower lip and looked at the arm.

An arm visible through a torn black shirt sleeve. And the number engraved there was clearly a rampage level, and the ability alone made it clear he was an esper. Eun-chan confirmed again that he was an esper, and thought of “him,” whom he must not run into right now. He hurriedly brought together his embarrassingly exposed legs and covered himself below. The hand that had entered the barrier broke through the barrier, and the owner of the arm came inside. And seeing Eun-chan, held defenseless by the tentacles in a violated state, his eyes widened.

“…You’re…?”

At the low, resonant voice, Eun-chan froze all at once. The esper’s face, entering from outside the gate along with the light, was dazzlingly bright. Before that being who seemed so distant and omnipotent, Eun-chan could not even raise his head and only wanted to hide anywhere.

‘No way. It’s really Seol-hyeon…?’

Eun-chan’s whole body trembled. He lamented that his shabby, shameful state was exposed.

‘Why right now? Why are you appearing here now…?’

The being he had missed so much and had only watched from beyond a screen, whom he had always longed to meet, finally existed before his eyes in substance. But Eun-chan’s state was all too wretched and embarrassing. Eun-chan shed tears from mortification and shame.

‘Why did you of all people come to save me now? Why… why at this moment I least wanted to run into you…’

It was the worst. The longed-for moment of reunion had become the moment he least wanted. He was absolutely the person he did not want to meet at this moment. Eun-chan bit his lip until it bled and clenched his fists so hard his nails dug into his palms. Eun-chan’s miserable heart kept him from raising his gaze, fixing it only on the hollow floor.

“No… don’t look… please… don’t look. I didn’t want… to show you of all people… this kind of appearance… why did you come to save me? Why… when there are so many other espers… why you of all people…”

His voice choked, and tears fell endlessly. He had never expected him to come at all. That was only natural, since the tentacle’s ability was not that great, and he had not judged it to be a high-danger gate. But that was only Eun-chan’s delusion and misjudgment.

“Cha Seol-hyeon… why are you here…?”

While he let his guard down, he was caught by an approaching tentacle, and finally raised his head and confirmed the face he had missed. Behind him, dazzling sunlight poured down, and his appearance still looked radiant. Eun-chan looked at him, tilting his head slightly to avoid the excessive light. Even after a long time, he still looked the same, seemingly a bit taller, and his body seemed more solidly trained.

‘It’s really… you.’

Confirming the esper who had come to rescue him, Eun-chan held a resigned heart. And meeting the gaze he had been unable to look at, he stared steadily. He faced, after a truly long time, the esper who had come to save him and his old friend. He, confirming that the person caught by the tentacle was Eun-chan, seemed somewhat shaken, narrowing his brow, then opened his mouth with difficulty.
